- If you think you might have been exposed to the Coronavirus take the following steps:
- If your symptoms are mild, please call us so we can help you determine the best course of treatment for your child.
- If you have severe symptoms (e.g. difficulty breathing, high fever), then you should go to the Emergency Room.
- If you think you might have been exposed to the Coronavirus take the following steps:
- All patients will be asked screening questions recommended by the CDC for the Coronavirus.
- This is the first line of defense against the virus, in addition to hand washing, covering coughs, and remaining at home if sick.
- To minimize the spread of the virus, we ask that only one parent/guardian accompany the child. Try to leave other children at home or have them wait in the car with an adult.
- When you arrive for your appointment, you may call us and wait in your car until we call to let you know we are ready for your appointment.
- High Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of Breath
- Sore Throat
- You have been out of the country, on a cruise, or in contact with persons who may have been exposed
To contain the spread of the Coronavirus the CDC recommends:
- In the event you are displaying any of these symptoms, please contact our office by phone so we can help you determine the best course of treatment for your child.
- Take everyday preventative actions to stop the spread of germs (wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces)
